Product Details
The STANDSTILL Transfer System Bundle provides everything you need for a precise, durable stencil transfer, specifically developed for challenging body placements and highly detailed work. Meant to be used with inkjet printers.
Instead of traditional transfer paper, this system utilizes a transparent, flexible film secured by the included specialized spray. The film can be repositioned during application without leaving marks behind. Because the film is completely clear, it ensures total control over placement on curved or difficult anatomical areas (such as knees, elbows, and necks).
This system is ideal for linework, dotwork, geometric designs, cover-ups, and large-scale projects. Both the film and spray are manufactured in Germany using medical-grade, skin-friendly, and vegan materials.
Application Guide
For optimal results, follow these application steps:
- Print: Print your design using a standard inkjet printer.
- Prep: Spray a generous amount of STANDSTILL Adhesive Spray onto clean, dry skin and let it dry for a few seconds.
- Place: Position the film on the skin, adjusting and repositioning as needed.
- Activate: Activate the film by lightly spraying it from a distance with a disinfectant spray (a very fine mist nozzle is crucial).
- Tattoo: Tattoo directly through the film using ointment. Remember to dab away excess ink instead of wiping.
- Removal: To remove, saturate a paper towel with green soap and distilled water. Place it over the film for 5 seconds, then simply wipe it away.
Manufacturer Tips: * Start by tattooing with light to medium grey wash shades rather than solid black ink.
-
You may need to increase your machine's voltage by 1–2 volts to compensate for the film.
-
It is recommended to practice dotwork first, followed by lining, to get used to the film's texture.
Technical Tips:
-
Machine Adjustment: You may need to increase your tattoo machine's voltage by 1–2 volts to compensate for the slight resistance of the film. The manufacturer recommends starting with light-to-medium grey wash tones rather than solid black ink during your first passes.
-
Fluid Control: Apply a generous amount of ointment/glide while tattooing. Dab or pat away excess ink with a paper towel instead of wiping firmly.
-
Removal: The film dissolves easily using a mixture of green soap and distilled water. Place a damp paper towel over the area for 5 seconds, then wipe away. If your piece requires color packing or heavy shading, simply complete your linework, wash the film away, and continue on the bare skin.
