Redz Precision Cartridges are the latest development in the Redz lineup — offering a more rigid, engineered design for artists who prefer precision without an integrated grip.

These cartridges differ from the original Redz grip version in several key ways. First, the needle plunger is stabilized at two points — by a squared rear cap and an internal guide — giving the needle extra steadiness, especially in larger configurations. The needle itself uses a solid wire, which maintains sharpness longer than standard flex-wire designs.

For better durability, the tip and housing are made from engineering-grade polycarbonate (PC) — a hard, wear-resistant plastic that resists friction from the needle, reducing distortion or micro-tears over time. Inside, a soft silicone membrane (FDA-approved) is tuned for smooth movement while minimizing drag on wireless machines — a practical upgrade for battery-powered workflows.

Another detail that sets these cartridges apart is the angled needle positioning. The needle sits downward by design, ensuring better contact with the tip — improving ink flow and eliminating the need for artists to manually bend needle bars for better performance.
